Company
History
Package
Supply & Equipment Company (PSE) was incorporated in Greenville,
SC on September 22, 1965. At that time PSE operated as a manufacturer's
representative working out of a one room office selling lables,
closures, and glass bottles.

The
Company was a closed corporation with the stockholders being
Mr. W.K. Greer and Mr. B.J. Dodson. Mr. Dodson was the President
and Mr. Greer was a silent partner employed by another firm
in Greenville.

In
1966, Mr. Gary L. Daniels was employed as a salesman to convert
PSE into a distributorship of containers. The company commenced
operation in an old warehouse with a hand operated elevator.
After six months, PSE began to be recognized as a container
distributor in the Carolinas.

During
1967, with sales increasing, PSE moved into a 10,000 square
foot metal building in Greenville, SC.

During
1967, the company's owners sold PSE to Texize Chemical Company
who in turn appointed Mr. Gary L. Daniels as President of
PSE.

In
the fall of 1967, PSE purchased Carlyle Container Company
in Charlotte, NC, which became a distribution center for PSE.

In
the spring of 1969, PSE opened a 6,000 square foot warehouse
distribution center in Atlanta, GA with a silk screen printing
operation.

In
the fall of 1969, Mr. Gary L. Daniels purchased PSE outright
from Texize Chemical Company.

In
the spring of 1974, PSE built a new executive office and warehouse
distribution center in Greenville, SC.

In
the spring of 1975, PSE Purchased Peninsula Products Company
in Hialeah, FL.

During
November of 1977, PSE opened a distribution facility in Nashville,
TN.

In
December of 1977, PSE opened an office in Orlando, FL to replace
the Hialeah operation which was phased out in early 1978.
In April
of 1987, PSE opened a distribution facility in Cincinnati,
OH.

In
1995, PSE started another container business, Daniels
Scientific. They manufacture pre-cleaned glass and plastic
containers that are sold to the environmental industry.
